Radiotherapy and oncology department of Imam Hossein hospital, with expert, experienced and compassionate professors and treatment staff and very low cost for treatment and sometimes free of charge by accepting various insurance tariffs, accepts 90 to 100 cancer patients for radiotherapy treatments daily.

Also, the chemotherapy department of this center serves patients with one of the most equipped clean rooms in the country, accepting 80 to 90 patients daily in the outpatient and inpatient departments.
The radiotherapy department of this educational and university center has recently used the new x9 tomotherapy machine to treat a wider range of cancer patients with modern treatments, which according to the requirement of the hospital regarding the need of this machine for Delta4 phantom to perform treatments.

More specialized, including IMRT and VMAT for different cancers, this problem was ordered to be investigated and followed up by the Behnam Daheshpour Charity Organization, and finally, with the approval of the above request, this item with cost of 14,100,000,000 Rials was purchased for the department and handed over to the officials and treatment staff of this hospital in Tir 1401 (June 2022) for the use of patients.
It should be mentioned that following the help in providing equipment for this center, since 1393 (2014) , the organization’s support unit has also been located in the chemotherapy department of this center and is continuously helping cancer patients undergoing treatment in the above department.
