Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign Report by Behnam Daheshpour Charity Organization

The nationwide breast cancer awareness campaign by the Behnam Daheshpour Charity Organization, titled “A Few Minutes for a Lifetime,” aimed to raise public awareness about the risk of breast cancer, enhance women’s awareness and sensitivity to their health, and encourage the audience to seek early detection. The campaign took place from October 1st to 31st October.

In line with its organizational mission in the prevention of cancer and considering the statistics of individuals seeking assistance from the counseling unit, the Behnam Daheshpour Charity Organization has consistently prioritized raising awareness about the prevention and early detection of breast cancer as a strategic priority.

In honor of October, we made efforts to disseminate over 60 types of various educational content, including posts, educational videos, and expert interviews. We also conducted classes and training courses for women in various commercial and industrial centers. Additionally, we contributed to the equipment of university hospitals in the field of breast cancer, including the provision of advanced ultrasound equipment for Mahdieh Shoush Hospital and vacuum biopsy equipment for Shohada Tajrish Hospital. Each day, we took a step closer to building a world without fear of cancer.

Currently, awareness, avoiding risk factors, paying attention to warning signs, and implementing screening and early detection programs remain the most effective ways to control breast cancer. Increasing women’s awareness plays a crucial and significant role in the prevention and early detection of breast cancer.
